Aphrodite Latinopoulou Condemns Turkish Ambassador’s Letter on Air – ‘Turkey is the Murderer’

Euro-MP and president of ‘Voice of Reason’, Aphrodite Latinopoulou, harshly criticized the letter she received from the Turkish ambassador to the European Union. During her appearance on the ‘Society Hour Mega’ broadcast on Thursday morning (May 22, 2025), Latinopoulou read out the letter live, condemning its content. Last Monday (May 19, 2025), Latinopoulou submitted a resolution to the European Parliament calling for the recognition of the Pontic Genocide by all EU member states. In response, the ambassador made unfounded claims about Greek nationalism and accused Greece of being involved in a violent invasion of Anatolia in 1919. ‘The Pontic Genocide is an historical truth, and Turkey is responsible. Turkey is accountable for three genocides,’ stated Latinopoulou. She emphasized that no one has stood up against Turkey and highlighted the unwarranted attacks from Ankara. ‘Turkey does not have history; it has a criminal record. I will continue to speak the historical truth against their distortion of history,’ she concluded.
