According to reports, the 42-year-old owner of the gas station was inside the armored car and managed to escape unscathed due to the vehicle’s protection. As seen in images from newsit.gr, the area has been cordoned off by police, with numerous bullet casings scattered on the ground as evidence of the mafia-related attack. The target of the assault is known to authorities for involvement in nightlife-related cases and had been released from prison just eight months prior. Reports indicate that the victim himself called the police, stating he was being followed by a suspicious vehicle after leaving work, leading to the ambush.
