Angelina Jolie: The Moving Post After Finalizing Her Divorce With Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie shared a moving message on social media just days after the news of her divorce with Brad Pitt. The Oscar-winning actress shared with her 15 million online friends an image of the horrors of the war in Syria in her attempt to turn the lights of publicity from her personal life into her humanitarian actions. While recent change in government brings an opportunity for a new beginning, millions of people still need help and basic needs are not covered.” The information comes from the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), an organization that defends their displaced people and rights. The actress, known for her action as the UN Goodwill Ambassador, had worked with the NRC again, Jordan and Yemen, as the Daily Mail reports. They have six children, Maddox, 23 years old, Pax, 21 years old, Zahara, 19 years old, Shiloh, 18 years old and the Vivienne and Knox twins, 16 years old. On September 19, 2016, Jolie filed for divorce, a decision that was accelerated after what happened on a flight on their private plane in which Pete was allegedly drunk and violent with both the actress and their children. He was not charged by authorities after investigations at the time and Jolie refused to file a lawsuit. Earlier this week, Jolie’s lawyers revealed that “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce by Mr. Brad Pitt,” said James Simon, one of Jolie’s lawyers, in a statement to the Associated Press. “She and the children left all the properties they had shared with Mr. Pete and has since focused on finding peace and treatment for their family. This is only part of a long ongoing process that began eight years ago. Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she feels relieved that this one piece is over,” she said specifically.
