A new momentum has been initiated by Nikos Androulakis, who is currently on a tour in Crete, emphasizing that ‘without political change, the country cannot recover.’ This visit holds significant importance for Harilaou Trikoupis as it aligns with the party’s revival strategy. As stated by senior opposition figures, ‘our strategy is structural social opposition, and our goal is victory to enact political change.’ They further highlighted their ambition to lead because ‘it is a societal necessity for there to be political change in the country to stop this government from squandering the people’s efforts and the nation’s potential.’ The president of PASOK concluded his speech in Crete by addressing citizens: ‘Vote openly for PASOK for great political change, to move the country forward and end corruption and arrogance under Kyriakos Mitsotakis and New Democracy.’ He added that if they unite, remain credible, and operate with political ethics and seriousness, they can overcome the current challenges. This tour and other initiatives are part of the party’s plan for external engagement and electoral recovery. Simultaneously, the final touches are being made to the proposal for a preliminary investigative committee concerning Kostas Karamanlis, aiming to ensure transparency and accountability.
