“I couldn’t be with her if she didn’t know exactly who I am,” Andreas Georgiou confessed about his wife, Simoni Christodoulou, in an emotional interview aired today (31.03.2025). Speaking on ERT’s “Studio 4,” the actor and director shared heartfelt words about his spouse, with whom he is expecting their first child in a few months.

“I told my wife everything from the second day, bam. I met her during a period when I started experiencing panic attacks—when I reached my mother’s age and realized how fast life passes, that tomorrow I could die. I didn’t want to waste any time or substance. I had issues with lies and half-truths, so I began working on it. That’s when I met Simoni. On the second day we met, I told her we needed to talk about certain things—that she should know exactly who I am and have the choice of whether she wanted to be with me. I couldn’t be with her if she didn’t truly know me. Simoni is the only person who has seen me at my worst and knows exactly who I am,” revealed Georgiou.

“Simoni is pregnant, and we wanted this baby very much. It wasn’t easy; we planned for it. This is a challenging time—not just because of the pregnancy but because of the commitment involved. I used to fear commitment, marriage—I couldn’t accept forever. But Simoni was the first person I wanted to keep forever; I didn’t want to lose her. Relationships require work. With pregnancy, as everyone knows, there are changes in women, which demand patience. I’m learning patience now. Thankfully, our baby will be born by late summer, close to our first wedding anniversary,” the actor confessed about his lifelong partner.
