Andreas Georgiou, husband of Anna Stratinaki, has issued clarifications regarding the business activities of his affiliated companies amid reported involvement in the high-profile case concerning Yiannis Panagopoulos, President of GSEE, currently under investigation by the Anti-Money Laundering Authority. In his official statement, Georgiou confirms that his companies exclusively provide cybersecurity, technical support, and GDPR compliance services — with no connection whatsoever to training or educational programs. He specifies that contracts with GSEE-affiliated entities (INE, KANEP, KEK) total €228,150 for 2021–2026, at an annual value of €38,025. Services include malware protection software installation and monthly technical reports on information system security. All contracts were awarded following formal decisions by the respective legal entities’ governing bodies, invoiced transparently for actual deliverables, and duly declared in Taxisnet. Georgiou stresses that entrepreneurship must not be criminalized and that no prejudicial conclusions should be drawn before the investigation concludes.
