Andreas Gavalas: The 24-year-old coach who led Colossus Rhodes to the big win against Maroussi

He was the face of the match in his victory against Marousi 96–57, as the 24-year-old coach led the island team to its most important victory this season. There he worked as coach of the Children’s Department. Last season he even had a place in the men’s team’s technical staff, becoming a partner of Joan Platha, while he remained in his place and when the Spaniard was replaced by Elias Zuros. However, he returned it to the island of Rhodes, with him as a member of Giorgos Sigalas’ coaching staff in Colossus. Now and after the departure of the Doctor, he is Thomas Nikos’ assistant, after the decision to permanentize the latter on the bench.
