Greek Composers union present a concert of music for guitar with works by Greek composers. The event will be held on Wednesday, 14 December 2016, at 20:30, in the auditorium of the hellenic American Union (Massalias 22, Kolonaki).
Two guitarists, Vassilis Kanellopoulos and the Grace Curve, presenting works by Greek composers for solo guitar. The concert takes place after a proposal of the president of the Greek Composers Union, the lord Theodore Antoniou the two guitarists, who were awarded in the competition of the 4th guitar festival of Paleo Faliro (1st and 2nd prize, respectively), where mr. Anthony served as president of the commission.
By means of the guitar is given the possibility of the two guitarists to perform works by Greek composers with great interest, both synthetic, and interpretive and to show off the rich expressive possibilities of the instrument.
The concert will be presented works of: Michael ΑÏχοντίδη, Kostas Grigorea, Dimitris ΚαθαÏόπουλου, James Κολανιάν, Dimitris Nanos, Nikos ΠιπÎÏη and Kostas Τσιλίδη.
