Amphiloea: Firefighters rescued animals from the burning truck on the Ionian Road

Big fire broke out in a truck near Sunday morning (15.9.2024) with firefighters making superhuman efforts to save the animals he carried. According to karvasaras.gr, it all happened Sunday morning when the fire department was informed of a fire in a truck moving on the National Road at the height of Amphilotia. However, when firefighters reached the point they found that the truck existed animals, namely sheep and pigs. The fire was extinguished before the vehicle suffered irreparable damage, but also before the animals it carried died. Firefighters immediately controlled the fire. There was no injury.
