An alarming incident occurred in Ampelokipoi, Athens, where a woman reportedly slapped and shoved her toddler—estimated to be between two and three years old—onto the roadway. According to footage obtained by MEGA, the mother and child were walking along Sevastoupoleos Street—not on the sidewalk—but in the middle of the street.
The video shows that when a passing car honked to alert them, the woman struck the child across the face, then pushed him forcefully, causing him to fall onto the asphalt. She subsequently picked him up while holding a lit cigarette.
Notably, she held the child on the outer side of her body—exposing him directly to oncoming traffic. A female eyewitness reportedly contacted authorities after witnessing the event.
