A terrifying ordeal unfolded on Monday evening (07.04.25) for a businessman and his wife when armed intruders broke into their villa in Alimos, holding them hostage for two hours. The incident occurred around 22:30. Three armed individuals, after breaking a window of the villa located on Panis Hill in Alimos, entered the property. Concealing their identities with masks and wearing gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints, they immobilized the businessman and his wife, who were in the living room at the time. Reports indicate that the intruders were searching for a hidden safe. They reportedly turned over all the artwork on the walls in an attempt to find money. After two hours, the intruders managed to steal three watches worth approximately €40,000, gold jewelry of unknown value, and whatever cash they could locate. As they fled, according to ERT, they also removed the recording system from the security cameras and the couple’s mobile phones to prevent immediate notification of the police. Police investigations are currently underway to locate and apprehend the perpetrators.
