The reported death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei during a joint U.S.-Israeli strike on Tehran has sent shockwaves across the globe. According to a Daily Mail report, the operation targeting Khamenei was carefully orchestrated to deceive Iran’s leadership entirely.

A Deceptive Calm Before the Storm

Israeli military planners reportedly created the impression that hostilities would pause for the weekend. To reinforce this illusion, they circulated photos and official announcements showing senior officers leaving their bases for the traditional Sabbath dinner — suggesting no imminent military action.

In reality, this apparent relaxation was part of the plan. Commanders are said to have discreetly returned to their posts and completed final preparations for the strike.

High-Altitude Strike Over Tehran

Early Saturday morning, Israeli fighter jets launched from their bases and, after roughly two hours of flight, entered airspace above Tehran. A barrage of dozens of missiles followed — including the advanced Blue Sparrow missile.

The Blue Sparrow is designed to climb to extreme altitudes — nearing the edge of space — before re-entering the atmosphere to strike its target. This trajectory makes it exceptionally difficult for air defense systems to detect and intercept, due to its speed and flight path.

The combination of weekend deception and cutting-edge missile technology allegedly enabled a surprise attack that caught Iran’s leadership completely off guard — resulting in the reported death of Ali Khamenei.
