Alfred Finbogason announced the end of his football career that included Olympiacos

Alfred Finbogason announced the end of his career at 35 years, completing a major European course that included him. Being one of the top strikers in the history of Icelandic football, Finbogason competed in 73 games and scored 18 goals with his country’s jersey, while he stood out with his presence and various teams in Europe, having a short pass from Olympiacos. Finbogason competed among others in Helsingborg, Real Sociedad, Herenfaine and Augsburg, while he ended his career in Belgian Eupin. In Olympiacos he was found on loan in the 2015-16 season and had 13 entries with two goals and one assist. See this post on Instagram. In his “good-bye” to football, Icelandic wrote: Dear football, Thank you for everything you’ve given me and my family. That five-year-old boy had a big dream. I had the luck of living it every day, along with so many others, goodbye.”
