Or a confession about her childhood and her relationship with her father. As he said he left home for work and when he returned years later, he was changed. Alexandra Paschalidou felt the mother closer than her father. In this he said, the needs of the family that forced her father to live in Germany and later to be away for a long time, on boat trips played a role. When she came back close to her and her sisters, she was another man. Alexandra Paschalidou was found invited to the show “Mama-des” on ERT. In much of the interview she referred to her parents and how her father’s absence brought her even closer to her mother. “My mom was a hero normally. My father the conditions forced him to be absent from our lives, of course, was not his choice, to go soldier 2.5 years, to emigrate to go to Germany to work for a while and to go after the ships for 2.5 years,” Alexandra Paschalidou initially said. “But then when he returned he was not the same man. I guess he had not bonded emotionally and psychologically with his three daughters as he should, he had no such ability,” she added for her father. “Then he did other jobs but generally also in free time gave him other priorities. We weren’t always his first priority. My mom was the pillar of the house, she was always there”, concluded Alexandra Paschalidou speaking about her parents.
