Alexandra Pantelaki Opens Up About Her Father’s Dementia Journey

In an emotional interview on ‘Studio 4’ aired today (04.03.2025), Alexandra Pantelaki shared her experience with the loss of her father and how their relationship transformed before he passed away. ‘I forgave him for everything. In the end, he called me mom,’ she revealed. She recounted how dementia erased the past grievances, leaving her with a childlike version of her father who was entirely dependent on her. ‘It was like a wire broke, and I loved him so much. I forgave him for everything. In the end, he called me mom. It lasted for three years,’ she stated. Pantelaki also highlighted the prevalence of dementia, questioning why it affects so many families, noting that her father was not elderly, being close to 70.
