New Democracy leads PASOK by 13 percentage points in voting intention, according to the latest Alco poll for Alpha TV’s main news bulletin. ND holds steady at 23.5%, while PASOK stands at 10.5%. Significant attention centers on two emerging political forces: Maria Karystianou’s new party and Alexis Tsipras’s anticipated return to party politics—both expected to reshape Greece’s electoral landscape.

Regarding Tsipras’s new party prospect: 17% react positively, 48% neutrally, 33% negatively. Among current party supporters, positive sentiment is strongest among New Left (67%) and Democratic Movement (53%).
For Karystianou’s new party: 26% respond positively, 40% neutrally, 29% negatively. Strongest positive reactions come from Greek Solution (43%), Freedom Movement (47%), and Democratic Movement (51%).
Public perception of Karystianou remains largely unchanged: 31% view her favorably, 9% more favorably—but 27% see her less favorably. A striking 75% believe that calls for justice and cleansing alone are insufficient; they demand a concrete governance program. Meanwhile, 58% say they’d cast a protest vote, while 37% prioritize governmental stability. Forty-one percent find it quite or very likely they’ll vote for a new party—yet 48% consider it unlikely or impossible.
Emotionally, citizens express disillusionment (38%), insecurity (27%), and anger (25%)—while hope (5%), optimism (3%), and confidence (1%) remain marginal. A majority (71%) believes the government has failed farmers and livestock breeders in its handling of their concerns.
