Alco Poll: ND Leads Freedom Party by 13.1% in Voting Intentions

According to the Alco poll for Alpha, New Democracy (ND) leads the Freedom Party by 13.1% in voting intentions. Presented during Alpha’s prime news bulletin, the poll highlights citizens’ prevailing feelings of disappointment and insecurity. Additionally, it touches on the issue of youth delinquency and violence, with 56% of respondents aged 17-24 knowing someone involved in such incidents. When asked if they know a case of youth delinquency or violence in their broader environment, 76% said no overall, while 24% said yes. However, among those aged 17-24, 56% answered yes versus 44% who said no. Regarding government measures for tenants and pensioners, 32% found them unsatisfactory, 31% somewhat satisfactory, 20% fairly satisfactory, and 3% very satisfactory, with 14% not responding. A significant 82% of respondents expressed negative feelings towards the government, with 33% feeling disappointed, 27% insecure, and 22% angry. On the other hand, 16% had positive feelings, including 8% hopeful, 7% optimistic, and 1% confident. In evaluating the government, 53% declared themselves entirely dissatisfied, 24% somewhat satisfied, and 21% very/fairly satisfied. For Kyriakos Mitsotakis specifically, dissatisfaction stood at 55%, with 23% somewhat satisfied and 20% very/fairly satisfied. As for alternative governance perspectives, PASOK leads with 13%, followed by the Freedom Party at 9%, Greek Solution at 6%, SYRIZA at 5%, KKE at 5%, Voice of Reason at 1%, and ‘no party’ leading at 52%. Concerning whether upcoming elections offer a protest vote, 36% agreed, while 43% disagreed. In terms of voting intention, ND remains first with a 13.1% lead over the Freedom Party, projecting a parliament composed of seven parties. The specific percentages are as follows: ND 24.7%, Freedom Party 11.6%, PASOK 10.4%, Greek Solution 8.4%, KKE 7.1%, SYRIZA 6.7%, Victory 3.1%, Voice of Reason 2.7%, Movement for Democracy 2.4%, MERA25 2.2%, and New Left 1.1%.
