Aktor Raises €650M via Share Capital Increase; €300M Bond Issuance Begins Today

The Board of Directors of Aktor S.A. has approved the acceptance of €650 million in new capital following the successful completion yesterday (22 July 2026) of its Share Capital Increase (SCI). The offering was priced at €11.25 per share. The outcome was announced in a stock exchange filing published late yesterday.

New Shares and €300M Bond Launch

As a result of the SCI, a total of 57,777,778 new shares will be issued. Today, the company is launching the process for issuing a €300 million bond, to be placed privately with UBS as sole global coordinator.

Strong Investor Demand

The capital increase was significantly oversubscribed — by 3.6 times — with investors submitting bids totaling €2.2 billion. Demand came from major international funds including BlackRock, Fiera Capital, Blackstone, and Norges Bank Investment Management, as well as domestic institutional investors, shipowners, and Greek entrepreneurs.

Funding Strategic Investments

Both the SCI and the upcoming bond issuance aim to maintain the group’s debt at sustainable levels while supporting its ambitious investment plan totaling €3 billion. Of this, €1.3 billion is earmarked for concessions and infrastructure projects (SDIT), €1 billion for renewable energy projects (RES), and the remainder for other group activities.

A portion of the investment plan will be funded through project finance structures, while the €650 million raised via the SCI — together with the €300 million bond — forms the core equity-like capital base required to execute the group’s multi-year growth strategy. The bond issuance also serves to diversify funding sources and mitigate financial risk.
