Agia Paraskevi: Victim Executed with Eastern Bloc Weapon – Identity Still Unknown

in

Authorities are working to unravel the mystery behind today’s (04/07/2025) cold-blooded murder at noon. New evidence suggests the perpetrator used an Eastern Bloc firearm, likely a Tokarev or Makarov pistol, and approached the victim on foot. Eyewitnesses describe the suspect as young, of average height, and wearing a mask.

Meanwhile, the victim remains unidentified. There is no record of him in files related to Extortion, Narcotics, or Homicide units. Described as short-haired, well-groomed, without tattoos, and appearing to be in his 40s, the man seemed to be a foreigner. No identification documents, passport, or personal items were found on him—only a set of keys investigators have yet to identify.

Interestingly, his mobile phone was found nearby. A preliminary check revealed nothing suspicious, except that its menu was set in English. Adding to the mystery, no one in the neighborhood seems to recognize the victim, suggesting he may not have lived locally.

Why was he on Eirinis Street in Agia Paraskevi, and how did the killer know where to find him? Investigators from the Hellenic Police are racing to uncover the victim’s identity in hopes of determining a motive and ultimately identifying the killer. All signs point to a potential settling of scores, possibly linked to Turkish mafia activity.
