A video showing police officers from the Zeta Unit rushing to the scene of a murder that occurred at noon on Friday (5.7.25) has been released by newsit.gr. The footage, captured by a store’s camera in Agia Paraskevi, shows two motorcycles carrying Zeta Unit officers speeding toward the crime scene on Eirinis Street, where the shooting took place.
The officers had just received orders from headquarters and were heading directly to the location. According to reports, the perpetrator approached the victim on foot and fired five bullets into his neck and chest before fleeing the scene.
The victim was found without any identification documents, and the mobile phone discovered next to him had been reset to factory settings with the menu displayed in English.
Eyewitnesses described the suspect as wearing all black, with full facial coverage, and as being tall and physically fit. He fled on foot, walking against the flow of traffic, before turning left onto Giavasi Street, which leads to the central square of Agia Paraskevi.
