A murder case in Agia Paraskevi has turned into a gripping thriller, leaving authorities puzzled after the victim’s identity remains unknown. The incident occurred around noon on Saturday (July 5, 2025), and despite efforts by law enforcement, no breakthrough has been made so far. According to witness accounts, the suspect was a man in his early 40s—clean-cut, well-groomed, with no tattoos—and reportedly used a Russian-made pistol (either a Tokarev or Makarov).
The lack of identification is raising red flags among investigators. There is no record of the individual in any major police databases—including those for extortion, narcotics, or homicide units. No ID card, passport, or other documents were found on him—only a set of keys that have yet to be matched to a specific lock.
Furthermore, no one in the neighborhood recognized him, suggesting he did not reside in the area. Greek police are now exploring two main theories: either this was an internal hit within the Greek mafia or there is involvement from Turkish organized crime groups.
The absence of identifiable information continues to baffle investigators. Authorities speculate that the man might have previously operated abroad before coming to Greece, where someone allegedly acted before he could carry out his plans. Alternatively, he may be linked to Turkish criminal networks but without prior activity on Greek soil—making him untraceable to local authorities.
