A 43-year-old man from Poland has been identified as the victim of a brutal murder that occurred in Agia Paraskevi on Saturday afternoon (5.7.25). According to reports, the main suspect in the case is the ex-husband of the victim’s partner. The deceased was reportedly a university professor and father of two children who had no prior criminal record in Greece.
The victim was found without any form of identification on him. His mobile phone, discovered at the scene, was reset to factory settings with the menu displayed in English. Keys found in his pocket appear to have played a crucial role in identifying him.
The suspect, described as tall, athletic, dressed entirely in black, and with full facial coverage, fled the crime scene on foot after shooting the victim. Authorities are still investigating whether he had access to a vehicle nearby or if someone assisted him in escaping.
