A 43-year-old man from Norway has been identified as the victim of a brutal murder that occurred in Agia Paraskevi on Saturday afternoon (July 5, 2025). According to sources, the main suspect is the ex-husband of the victim’s partner. The deceased was a university professor and father of two children, with no prior involvement with Greek authorities.
The victim was not carrying any identification documents at the time of the incident. His mobile phone, found nearby, had been reset to factory settings with the menu displayed in English. The keys found in his pocket reportedly played a key role in identifying him.
The perpetrator, described as wearing all black clothing with full facial coverage, tall, and athletic, fled the crime scene on foot after shooting the 43-year-old. It remains unclear whether he had access to a vehicle nearby or if someone was waiting to pick him up.
