(Title) The Council of State will appeal against the Memorandum signed by the Greek government with the troika, the Athens Bar Association, the Supreme Administration of Public Employees ( ADEDY) and the Federation of Civil Pensioners (POPS).
Following a meeting between representatives of the Association decided to ‘the pursuit of proceedings before the State Council in implementing the provisions of the Memorandum, and the failure of all administrative acts issued or to be issued to implement “.
Requests law will be prepared by skilled labor, administrative and European law lawyers under the supervision and coordination of Professor Emeritus of Constitutional Law George Kassimatis.
The initiative undertaken by the DPS, “recognizing the importance of social and scientific role, for the general protection of fundamental rights of all affected citizens and social groups affected by the provisions of the Memorandum. Besides, challenged provisions of the Memorandum is dictated by the need to defend and respect constants and values, which has highlighted European culture “.
The Athens Bar Association is expected to announce” its cooperation with other scientific and trade unions, and the provisions of MoU is a matter which concerns the whole of Greek society on the ground that is our obligation to assist in the direction of upholding the rule of law, respect for individual and social entitlements “.
