However, today the Tesla CEO rushed to praise his so-called “frenemy,” stating that Trump has resolved “various serious conflicts around the world.” The comment came after news broke that Israel had agreed to necessary conditions for a 60-day ceasefire, during which all parties will work together to end the war. In response, Musk tweeted: “Credit where credit is due. He has successfully resolved several serious conflicts around the world.” No one can quite understand how these two men have been close allies, and what the next chapter in their tumultuous relationship might be. It’s worth recalling that Trump once said: “Elon likely receives by far the most subsidies of any human in history, and without subsidies, he may need to close shop and go back home to South Africa.”
