Top Taliban leaders met in Kabul on Sunday with the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Martin Griffiths, who promised them that aid to the Afghan people would continue. Suhail Sahin.

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the head of the Taliban’s political bureau, and other officials have met with Mr. Griffiths as Afghanistan faces a potentially catastrophic humanitarian crisis due to prolonged drought and economic collapse.
