The Islamic State claimed responsibility for today’s attack on Kabul airport, according to a Nasher News post on its Telegram account.
“By the grace of Almighty God, the Caliphate’s troops targeted Kabul International Airport with six Katyusha missiles,” the statement said.
The missile defense systems of the US forces intercepted five missiles that were launched early today at Kabul airport, a US official said.
