This is for a couple and three small children, who were arrested shortly after their arrival at Los Angeles International Airport last week.
They had a special visa, immigration, granted to them after their cooperation with the u.s. military that put their lives at risk.
Afghanistan, notes the BBC, was not among the countries that were included in the decree of Donald Trump, which prohibited entry into the U.S. of immigrants from seven muslim countries – which “blocked” the federal courts. The administration Trump, however, is preparing a new decree, without having it be known what changes it will include.
According to the british network, of that family, the man is being held in a maximum security prison in California. His wife and children, aged seven and six years and eight months, initially transferred to a similar unit in Los Angeles but then moved to a hotel.
This visa was designed by the american congress and citizens from Iraq and Afghanistan who helped the us military – as drivers, translators etc., collaboration which often putting their lives at risk in these countries.
In accordance with one of the lawyers of the family, is “extremely unusual, if not unique” someone who has this special visa to be arrested on his arrival in the united states.
The new decree Trump
After the huge uproar and chaos in the airports caused by the decree of Donald Trump on immigration – which he blocked, ultimately, Justice – today the American president is expected to sign a new version of it, without having it be known what will be the changes that brings.
The decree signed on the 27th of January, he forbade entrance to the USA of any national-seven countries with majority muslim population for 90 days, all of the refugees for 120 days, and the Syrian refugees permanently.
The decree caused outrage around the world and a wave of demonstrations in the US while prevailed chaotic situation in american airports.
