A dunk by Gaëtan Sordilliez extended AEK’s lead to 34 points early in the fourth quarter (84-50). Although Peristeri managed to cut the deficit to 27 points late in the game, AEK ultimately triumphed 96-67. With this win, AEK (12-8) secured their seventh victory in eight games across Greece and Europe, boosting morale ahead of their Tuesday matchup against Verviers-Poulainville in the Basketball Champions League. Meanwhile, Peristeri (7-13) suffered their fifth consecutive loss and risks falling out of playoff contention depending on tomorrow’s results.
