(Title) The Turkish government finally approved the appointment of General Erdal Seilanoglou the post of commander of the Turkish military forces, ending a cycle of uncertainty and conflict with the military leadership.
According to CNN Turk, the appointment of Seilanoglou opens the way for the appointment of the current army commander Isik Kosaner the position of chief of the armed forces. Both positions have remained vacant since the end of the annual operation of the Supreme Military Council of the country on August 4.
