“You have poisoned political life with the massive lie of the illegal cargo of the commercial trucking,” stated Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis during a heated discussion in Parliament on April 7, 2025. The debate was triggered by an urgent question from MP Alexandros Kazamias regarding allegations made by employees at Attikon Hospital about the collection of personal data of injured individuals following the February 28 mass rally in Tempi. Addressing the Liberty Voyage party and its President, Zoï Konstantopoulou, Georgiadis accused them of “poisoning political life with the massive lie of the illegal cargo.” He further criticized national experts who had forgotten to register with the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP) and instead became journalists, indirectly referring to Kostas Lakafosis. Turning his attention to the MPs of the Liberty Voyage party, Georgiadis questioned their integrity, saying, “Who lost the sense of shame that you found? If you had shame, would you still be in the Liberty Voyage? Obviously not.” In response, Alexandros Kazamias called the accusations “nonsense,” labeling Georgiadis as the “chief thug of the right” while emphasizing that most citizens believe the government is covering something up. Georgiadis also accused Zoï Konstantopoulou of delaying court proceedings for political gain, describing her tactics as self-serving and devoid of sensitivity. He referred to her as someone willing to make baseless insinuations, such as suggesting a deceased volunteer driver for Kyriakos Mitsotakis was an illegal immigrant, solely to gain votes.
