ADE: The new first half expires increased by EUR 400 million

Data on the development of the first six months has been made public by the Independent Public Revenue Authority ( ). It follows from the data provided by AADE that during January – June 2024 new debts increased by more than EUR 400 million. In detail, for the 6 month period, the new maturity including all 10 non-tax categories reached 3,461 billion euros, while in the same period last year it had reached 3,053 billion euros (a 13.4% increase). As far as receipts are concerned, total receipts against new maturity (except for 10 BFF) reached EUR 1.198 billion, while in the same period in 2023 they had reached EUR 960.3 million (an increase of 24.8%). With regard to the month June 2024, the new expiry date including non-tax categories reached EUR 525 million, while last year it had reached EUR 528 million (reduction by 0.5%). Reduction in the corresponding period of 2023 and the number of debtors, by 3% (4,063,053 number of debtors in June 2024 versus 4,184,515 in 2023).
