ADE: Exemption from child health insurance – What changes from 1 January 2025

Exemption from the health tax for minors is promoted by (AED), from 1 January 2025. In fact, by decision of the administrator of AADE, Mr.George Pitsilis, they also change the registration forms of the insurance tax with effect from New Year’s Eve. As defined in the new law applicable, the exemption from the premium tax does not only benefit those who enter into health insurance contracts for minors up to 18 years of age but also those who enter into life insurance contracts with a duration of at least ten years, while individual and family or group tax year contracts are included from 1 January 2025 onwards.
