The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has begun disbursing the second installment of the Special Consumption Tax (SCT) refund on motor fuel to 88,833 eligible farmers, totaling €24,790,488.49. This payment relates to fuel purchases made during the second quarter of 2026 and reported to AADE via the digital platforms myDATA and esend.
Refund Totals So Far in 2026
To date in 2026, AADE has paid a total of €45,473,975.65 to 98,941 beneficiaries under this scheme.
How Farmers Can Check Their Details
Starting tomorrow, 22 July, farmers can access detailed information about their eligible fuel purchases—and the corresponding refund amounts per payment—via the dedicated application “SCT Refund for Farmers 2026”, available on the myBusinessSupport platform.
