The Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) has completed the automatic mapping of existing Codes of Economic Activity (KAD) for 1.9 million businesses, assigning 9.5 million new KAD codes in line with the updated European statistical classification framework for economic activities.
What the Update Means
This centrally managed, fully automated process ensures alignment with current EU statistical standards. As of today, 9 March 2026, AADE’s digital Registry applications have resumed full operation, and businesses are urged to review their newly assigned KAD codes.
