he confessed that he murdered the ambassador of Greece in Brasilia, probably on the order of the wife of a diplomat, with whom he had an affair, broadcast on the tv channel Globo TV Brazil, citing police sources.
The channel reported that the police officer Sergio ΜοÏÎιÏα, 29 years old, confessed that he killed Kyriakos ΑμοιÏίδη, 59 years of age, at the house kept by the diplomat in Nova Ιγουάσου, a suburb of Rio de Janeiro, on Monday night.
According to the Globo TV, the authorities believe that the ΜοÏÎιÏα and the wife of the ΑμοιÏίδη, Francoise, had planned in advance the murder.
Both the police officer and the wife of the ΑμοιÏίδη detained but has not clarified if they ask for a lawyer.
The local police and the Greek embassy in Brasilia have avoided to make any comment on the news broadcast by the channel.
In the same story it was reported that detained also two other suspects, whose details were not made public.
