A meeting of the Municipalities with the administrations of the Bodies of Ports and the president of the hellenic republic asset development FUND

Following the initiative of the Mayor of Igoumenitsa, mr. Ioannis Lolos for… the coordination of Municipalities with the Port authority on their territory and in order to resolve chronic issues was held on Thursday, 31 March 2016, at the invitation of the President of the hellenic republic asset development FUND, a joint meeting between the Municipalities and their respective Agencies Port at the offices of HRADF in Athens.
The meeting focused on the issues that have been raised with the common framework of demands of the Municipalities and involving the FUND, such as the land-based zones that are not used for port activities, the reintroduction of the measure of state fees to the Municipalities, as well as the participation of Municipalities in Boards of Organisations Port.
The result of the meeting was to set a timetable for the Municipalities and the respective Port authorities in the next period of time, to record the problems and to find the common lines in order to start the resolution process. Will follow up and new appointments in order to specialise for each case, the proposed solutions to specific problems.
The Municipality Igoumenitsa was represented at the meeting, due to the illness of the Mayor, the deputy Mayor, mr Sotirios Mitsis and the Scientific Collaborator of the Municipality mr. George ii. Danis.
The Meeting was also present the President of HRADF, mr. Stergios Πιτσιόρλας, the Mayor of Alexandroupolis mr. Basil Lampakis, Kavala, ca. Dimitra Tsanaka, Rafina – Pikermi, mr. Vasileios Πιστικίδης, Elefsina, greece mr. Georgios Tsoukalas, Corfu, mr Konstantinos Νικολούζος, Volos, mr Thanos Theodorou, Lavrion mr Dimitrios Loukas, the deputy Mayor of Heraklion mr Ioannis Anastasakis, Elefsina minister Athanasios, Corfu, mr Nikolaos Anastassopoulos, as well as the Secretary-General of the Municipality of Volos, mr. Stelios Diamantidis.
And the Chairpersons of the Agencies Ports of Igoumenitsa mr Andreas Bully, Corfu, mr Spyridon Stefanidis, Lavrion, mr Emmanuel Μαραγκουδάκης, Volos, mr * Σταυριδόπουλος, Patras mr.
