A meeting of the Mayor of Acharnon, and the General Secretary of Public Order for the delinquency in the Municipality of Acharnon

Wide meeting was held at the Ministry of Citizen Protection, under the Secretary General of Public Order mr. Dimitris Anagnostakis, and the Mayor of Acharnon, mr. John Κασσαβό…
for all open issues facing the Municipality Acharnon, and relating to the responsibilities of the Ministry of Citizen Protection, the top of all the exacerbation of delinquency.
The Mayor of Acharnon, mr. John Κασσαβός called for the scaling up of actions in the policing of the Municipality Acharnon, the strengthening of Teams for Prevention and Repression of Crime (ΟΠΚΕ), the increase of the patrols and the strengthening of the Police Departments of the Municipality of Acharnon.
While assigned to the Police department of West Attica, which is based in the Olympic Village, the preparation of a comprehensive plan to strengthen policing in the region with a view to the more effective treatment of delinquency.
The meeting requested technical and legal details related to the implementation of the Cooperation agreement that has been signed by the Municipality of Acharnes and the EL.NES. and terms of rent of the building of the School of Police in Αμυγδαλέζα, as well as the creation of a strengthened Police Department to the abandoned high School in the area of Αυλίζας.
On the occasion of the meeting with the Secretary General of Public Order mr. Dimitris Anagnostakis, the Mayor of Acharnon, mr. John Κασσαβός said:
“The nuisance and claims in the State are long-lasting and more intense, as the problem of delinquency in the Municipality of Acharnon requires to be on constant alert. The police operations of the EL.NES in the Municipality of Acharnon need to be strengthened in order to become more effective and to get more key hits against the delinquency. The sense of security it will have to return in the neighborhoods of the Municipality of Acharnon, and to do that required laborious and unremitting effort both by us and by the State”.
In a meeting at the Ministry of Citizen Protection, took part, the chairman of the Council of Prevention of Delinquency and Crime and the deputy Mayor of Technical Services of the Municipality Acharnon, mr. Panagiotis comparison of treatment, the Secretary-General of the Municipality Acharnon, mr. Thanassis Katsigiannis, the Legal Advisor of the Municipality of Acharnon, mrs Antonia Dimitrakopoulou, the Director of the Branch Order of the Headquarters of EL.NES. Major general Christos Δραγατάκης, the Director Οικονομικοτεχνικής Support and Information technology of the EL.NES Major-general George Κωτσάκης, the Police prefect of Western Attica, Brigadier-general, mr. Dimitris Sotiropoulos, and the Director of Security of West Attica police Officer A’ mr Municipality Λασπιάς.
