A great deal of attention: Scammers promise…write-off of debts

The attention of citizens draws the Bar Association of Heraklion
And in Heraklion, act the last time the sophistication that promise to “write off” debt, but also debts to the State, with a…cease and desist letter, which caused the reaction of the Bar Association of Heraklion.
In a statement, the Association states that:
“In response to citizens’ complaints, and publications that have been brought to the attention of various clubs and general collectives that are active at various points of the Greek territory, the last time I don’t, and in Heraklion, and claim, either that they can “write off” debt, but also debts to the State, with a cease and desist letter, without recourse to Justice, or that the debt obligations of borrowers to the credit institutions do not exist because the latter have been recapitalised, as well as on persons, which are active in the area of Heraklion, lawyers and non-lawyers who, compared to large many times a fee, they promise “guaranteed results”, on the above issues, it shall inform the interested citizens of the city, but also of our county, that the above claims have nothing to do with reality, and also that :
(a) Each case has its own unique elements and it is personalized by the Courts, in accordance with the application of the current legal framework of the past and the evolution of the case law,
(b) no person may validly guarantee the achievement of a specific result, on the above matters, the appeal to Justice, let alone connecting it with the download of a specific fee,
(c) interested citizens who may not cope with the costs of litigation can apply for legal assistance through the institution of legal aid and
(d) The Bar Association of Heraklion will continue to monitor these phenomena and will not hesitate to take legal action against those who, while not having the status of a lawyer offering legal advice, αντιποιούμενοι the attorneyship, and those who believe that they can continue to make solicitations per the Greek territory, and are subject to disciplinary measures”.
