A cry of anguish of the people with the bill for the plastic money: Διαιωνίζετε the exclusion of us

The government’s effort to “wipe out” with the bill for the plastic money complain about people with …
disability with an urgent letter.
In this it is emphasised that this bill has not recognized any of the problems that daily face people with disabilities in their dealings relating to plastic money and online transactions”.
Below is the letter:
“In this bill, which was introduced in the Parliament without any consultation and participation of society, has not taken any concern about the access of persons with disabilities and has not acknowledged any of the problems that daily face people with disabilities in their dealings relating to plastic money and online transactions. The bill was introduced for debate and a vote in the House absolutely in absentia of the citizens of which regulates the everyday lives, perpetuating the exclusion that they experience as well as the discrimination and inaccessible environments, such as:
·The vast majority of ATMS are not accessible, as well as the banks themselves, but also the websites of the banks (and ministries).
·Banks shall refuse, without justification, to issue credit cards in the blind.
·In the bill there is no provision for what will face people with disabilities living in structures-closure care.
·There is no provision for what will face people with intellectual disabilities, severe and multiple disabilities, mental illnesses.
In this bill it is necessary to introduce a provision according to which issues concerning persons with disabilities will be provided with a ministerial decision, which will be prepared in consultation with the ΕΣΑμεΑ.
The authors of the bill impose horizontal measures with a multitude of discrimination, in breach of every concept of fairness, for the 10% of the Greek people”.
