Causes a Turkish journal for the carnage in the USA: “50 dead in a bar that go’s sick and twisted”

A Turkish newspaper kiss-leaning Tayyip Erdogan published an article…
in which he called the victims of the massacre in Orlando “sickos” and “perverts”. The right-wing newspaper Yeni Akit, which have more than a few times in the past has expressed its support to Al-Qaeda published on its website a text titled “50 dead in a bar that go perverted homosexuals!”.
The title has caused violent reactions while the use of the exclamation mark shows that this journal “celebrates” for the deadly attack. The Yeni Akit in a long time supports the party of Justice and Development, whose president was Tayyip Erdogan.
The newspaper the name of which means “New Agreement” is also known for the support it offers to the Turkish president, in a country where freedom of the Press is under the strict supervision of the government.
In accordance with the Turkish think-tank, the Hrant Dink Foundation, Yeni Akit is a journal that fosters fanaticism, it is against minorities, Jews, Armenians and Christians.
A characteristic example is that in 2013 and in the space of four months, the journal has published 175 articles the content of which was fiery speech against eight groups of minorities.
Erdogan has tried to crack down on the negative headlines in an effort to enhance the profile of, as well as an increasing number of Turkish citizens who feel that his views don’t represent theirs.
According to the Freedom House, an NGO that monitors democratic freedoms around the world, the Turkish Press freedom has deteriorated significantly over the last several years.
In 2015 alone, three journalists were killed for their beliefs, while dozens of others are persecuted by the government in the context of anti-terrorism law.
The accreditations of the journalists have been put under the strict control of the government.
Versions that can be freely operate – such as the Akit – seems to express extreme views without being censored by the government.
