Successfully continues the 8th National Education organized by the Department of Education in the Sector of Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards of the Greek Red Cross, with the support of the German Red Cross and the President of the Greek Red Cross Dr. Antonios Avgerinos, on the premises of the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia.
The theme of the program of Education concerning the “Updating of the Education Management and Leadershipâ€, as well as to the “Ethics of Teaching and the Actions of the Red Crossâ€. In addition, the participants will be trained in the Basic Principles of dealing with Radiological, Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Threats, the measures and means of protection, as well as in the proper use of them, as well as the Psychological Support of the Volunteers that attempt, and of the victims.
The responsibility for the conduct of the Programme have been jointly o head of the Department of Education in the Sector of Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards of the Greek Red Cross – instructor Trainer mr Ζεκή Memet Ali and the instructor Trainer of the German Red Cross of the federal state of Hesse mr Theodor Herbert Brand. In the program of Education is also involved in the Responsible Rescue of the German Red Cross, Frankfurt mr. Armin Bender.
The training started on Sunday 15 May 2016, with the participation of Volunteers Samaritans, Rescuers and Lifeguards of the Regional and Local Sections of E.E.P. six regions of Greece.
The great importance of the 8 National Education has confirmed the President of the Greek Red Cross Dr. Antonios Avgerinos, who visited the International Olympic Academy, on Thursday, 26 May 2016. In the visit participated the coordinator of the Department of Administration and Organization of Local and Regional Boards of Samaritans mrs. Marina Stamatis.
The Dr. Antonios Avgerinos after having praised the role and action of the Body of Volunteers Samaritans, Rescuers & Lifeguards, spoke with a lot of warm words about the great contribution of the German Red Cross in the land of Hesse in the renaissance of the Greek Red Cross and expressed his optimism about the future of the largest Voluntary Organisation in Greece. In indication, “of love, of gratitude and of recognition of†years of supply of the Greek Red Cross, awarded honorary plaques to mr Theodor Herbert Brand, Armin Bender and Alexander Otto Roth, as well as the special partner of the Hellenic Red Cross, mrs. Mersin Καπογιαννάτου.
The 8th National Education will be completed on Sunday 29 May 2016.
