8-Vehicle Pile-Up on Poseidonos Avenue Leaves 9 Injured

A serious road accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning (13.4.2025) in Alimos, involving eight vehicles and resulting in nine people being injured. The pile-up happened at around 1 a.m. under currently unknown circumstances on Poseidonos Avenue, heading towards Glyfada. Emergency services including the EKAB (Greek Ambulance Service), Traffic Police, and Attica Regional Road Safety arrived promptly at the scene. To address potential road slipperiness, sand was spread on the road surface. As a result of the accident, two lanes were temporarily closed, but traffic has since been restored.
