64,300 SMEs to Receive Vouchers Under ‘Digital Tools’ Program

A total of 64,300 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and sole proprietorships will receive vouchers to acquire new digital products and services through purchase or lease. This is according to the provisional list of beneficiaries of the ‘Digital Tools for SMEs B’ program, which has been posted on the website of the ‘Digital Transformation’ initiative. Interested parties can find more information either directly on the ‘Digital Tools for SMEs B’ site or via gov.gr under the ‘Business Activity’ section and the sub-section ‘Enterprise Support,’ as reported by ertnews. Beneficiaries will receive vouchers worth €630 to €1,600 depending on their category, allowing them to obtain digital services and software such as workforce management applications, sales tools, customer support systems, as well as equipment like tablets, laptops, desktop computers, and teleconferencing systems. The beneficiaries are divided into four categories: notaries, judicial trustees, general SMEs, sole proprietorships, and freelancers. Special attention has been given to areas in the Attica, Central Greece, Thessaly, and Peloponnese regions affected by floods in September 2023. Due to heightened interest from businesses, Ministers Dimitris Papastergiou for Digital Governance and Nikos Papathanasis for National Economy and Finance decided to increase the program’s budget by €4 million. As a result, the total budget for the ‘Digital Tools for SMEs B’ program, part of the ‘Digital Transformation of SMEs’ initiative funded by the Recovery Fund, now stands at €46 million. The program is implemented by the Information Society (IS MAE), an agency of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
