6,3 ec. euros for projects in the stream Sappho, in Marousi, Attica

the stream Sappho, in Maroussi, the settlement of which is necessary for the flood proofing of the city. With the recommendation of the Met, George Καραμέρου, the project, amounting to 6.324.000,00€, was included in the budget for 2017 as soon as the final study was submitted by the Municipality, on 23/9/2016.
“This is important work that should have already been done”, pointed out mr. Καραμέρος who visited the Epirus, at the karpathian Kokkinia, the Pile – Lacquer Κόττου, social Housing, St. Thomas, areas crossed by the stream and chat with citizens and representatives of stakeholders. “Our aim is for the project to be tendered in 2017, so this natural water course to be a breath of fresh air and recreation, and not a daily nightmare”.
The aim of the intervention, from the boundaries with the Municipality of Kifissia, to the route of Dionysus (the rear Palace OTE), is the restoration of παροχευτικότητας of the stream at the points where this has been reduced and the cross section is inadequate or marginal. The study includes 1.824 meters of open cross-section with gabions, 541 yards of open, muddy cross-section and 91 meters enclosed technical projects crossing of the stream under roadways. The 8 technical projects will be in the streets of Ag. Nektarios, C. Papandreou, Σισμανογλείου, Landlocked, Leros, Κέκροπος, Ag. Athanasius and Zikou. Altogether, there are 2.456 meters length projects settlement, while the remaining portion of the stream remains in its natural form.
With this project the total financing in the Region for projects in Maroussi is in 14.368.943,93€. The rest of the projects that have joined, auctioned or implemented are: a Network of stormwater drainage in New Lesvos (600.000,00€) and Saint Thomas (1.760.000,00€). A network of storm sewers in the Scissors (726.000,00€) and the drainage of rainwater in the Studio Alpha (1.758.900,00€). Flood protection works in the Polydrosso (1.920.000,92€). Completion Of The Spiritual Cultural Centre Of The Holy Temple Of Ag. Anargyroi (1.248.802,01€). Replacement επιδαπέδιου lighting with marble slabs in the surroundings of the olympic STADIUM (32.240,00€).
