3ποντο for the small Argyris…

Combining our love for basketball and the sense of social responsibility, we decided to conduct a tournament of basketball… (with groups of the B-class amateur championship Nicosia) with the ultimate aim of all proceeds to be given for the treatments of the small Argyris.
Argyris suffers from cerebral palsy type spastic quadriplegia.
Underwent series of surgical interventions in the feet in May 2015 in Athens, greece by Dr. Anastasios Kanellopoulos successfully.
Then followed 4 specialised programmes of physiotherapy in June and October 2015, and February and July 2016, again in Athens.
In these programs, in accordance with the advice of the physician, presented a significant degree of improvement in terms of walking, which programs again in accordance with the advice of the physician should be repeated at periodically regular intervals of every 3-4 months.
The next programme is intended for end October 2016 . The cost for each programme amounts to 8000 euros, and the whole treatment is paid for by the family and contributions of friends.
Assist you from the first moment in this huge effort was the main Sponsor of the event, Ojo Sunglasses as well as the Municipality of Ag.Dometios who is the Great Supporter of us. The practical support as well as all the facilities they provided us did this in the tournament to pass of the idea in practice.
The event will take place on Sunday 23 October in Hall Sports Ag.Dometios and will start at 9am and is expected to finish at 3pm. The entrance is free, however there is an optional injection with tickets of 5 euro.
We invite all basketball and non-public to overwhelm the closed Ag.Dometios showing in every way the support of the fighter of life, the small Argyris.
