25-Year-Old Falls to Death from the 24th Floor of Apollo Tower in Ambelokipoi

A shocking incident occurred early Monday morning (May 19, 2025), when a 25-year-old man fell from the 24th floor of the Apollo Tower located at 64 Louise Riancour Street in Attiki. The emergency services were alerted around half past midnight following reports of a person falling from the high-rise residential building in Ambelokipoi. Eight firefighters rushed to the scene with three vehicles, along with an EKAB ambulance and police units. According to initial reports, the young man landed on the roof of an adjacent supermarket on Louise Riancour Street. Authorities are investigating all possibilities surrounding the tragic event. Emergency crews removed the body shortly before 2 a.m., as police continue gathering testimonies. Witnesses claim that the victim was reportedly celebrating at the restaurant-bar located atop the Apollo Tower. While authorities are seriously considering suicide as a possible cause, they have not ruled out other potential factors.
