18-Year-Old Arrested in Marousi with 4,000 Ecstasy Pills and Cannabis

An 18-year-old was arrested on Saturday afternoon (April 12, 2025) in Marousi by officers from the Patrols Department of the Athens Police Directorate for trafficking drugs. As part of an investigation into reports about a person selling ecstasy pills in Marousi, the teenager was located, and thousands of pills were discovered during searches. Specifically, police officers spotted the suspect walking in the Amarousion area carrying a bag and called him in for inspection. Inside the bag, they found and seized 200 ecstasy pills. During a subsequent search of his home, authorities additionally found and confiscated: 4,256 ecstasy pills, 16 nylon packages containing 40.9 grams of cannabis, precision scales, a grinder, three pipes, seven mobile phones, and €2,640 in cash. The arrested individual, charged through documentation prepared by the Department of Pursuit and Detection of Crimes in Amarousion, was brought before the competent prosecutor.
