17-Year-Old Reports Assault by Family Member in Patras

A 17-year-old girl reported being assaulted by a 32-year-old family member during a visit to his home in Patras on Sunday, May 4, 2025. Following the incident, both the girl’s family and the accused man ended up filing complaints against each other at the local police station. According to reports, the young girl went to visit a friend where the alleged perpetrator was also present. Upon returning home, she claimed that the 32-year-old had assaulted her. In response, her mother, brother, and stepfather allegedly confronted the man, leading to physical violence. The Hellenic Police were alerted, arresting the 32-year-old on charges of assault and the girl’s relatives for unlawful detention and dangerous bodily harm against him.
