15-Year-Old Arrested for Throwing Stones at Train, Injuring Driver

A 15-year-old has been arrested for allegedly throwing stones at a passing train operated by ISAP, resulting in the injury of the driver. The incident occurred when several juveniles targeted the train from a pedestrian bridge between the ‘KAT’ and ‘Marousi’ stations. The attack caused damage to the train’s glass panel, and the shards injured the driver, who was forced to immobilize the train and evacuate passengers, according to police reports. On Saturday afternoon (08.03.25), six juveniles were located at the same site, found in possession of stones. They were taken to the Amaroussion Police Department, where it was confirmed that the 15-year-old was involved. The suspect was subsequently handed over to the responsible prosecutor.
